LumiMeds Review

LumiMeds was introduced to us via an email from someone suggesting they should be on our tool. Pricing is posted clearly on their site, customer reviews highlight excellent support, and the overall process appears to be quick and easy. They are also one of the few telehealth companies that disclose the compounding pharmacy they use on the product page.

Patients fill out an intake form and may complete a short video or phone consult, depending on the state. If approved, prescriptions are sent to LumiMed’s partner pharmacies. The medication arrives in a few days with syringes, alcohol swabs, and clear instructions.

There’s no coaching, no bundled lab work, and no long-term commitment. But for patients who want to manage their own weight loss plan while still having access to a licensed provider, LumiMed strikes the right balance.

Support is mostly done through email and portal messaging, and reviews consistently mention how fast and helpful their staff is. Patients also say they’ve been able to ask follow-up questions about doses and get personalized responses.

Our biggest critique is on the pricing on their products page. While pricing is clearly posted on the website, it’s not always clear exactly what you are receiving when you order it. For example, there are GLP-1 injections on a monthly plan, 2-month plan, and 3-month plan, then on the same page, there is a GLP-1 injections monthly subscription and a 3-month subscription that differ in price a meaningful amount. To us, it is not clear why there is such a price difference and which one we’d choose if we were a potential customer.

Overall, Lumimeds might be a great option when your primary provider is slow or backed up with orders. They also seem like a good option on high doses. For those starting out, we don’t have any particular reason to recommend Lumimeds over companies like OrderlyMeds or Brello.
