To gauge Mochi’s service, we tested their phone support and were connected with a live representative in under 10 minutes. The agent was able to answer multiple questions and even look up appointment availability for us, indicating a responsive and capable support team. This recent positive interaction stands in contrast to the significant communication breakdowns we observed just a few months prior during their pharmacy crisis.

Mochi is one of the most visible telehealth companies online, with a massive Facebook group of over 140,000 members and a constant presence on social media. Much of this growth was fueled by a “give $40, get $40” referral program that made their coupon codes ubiquitous. While their fee structure—splitting the membership and medication costs—can be confusing, the combined price often positions them as a low-cost provider, which has clearly resonated with a large audience.

Operationally, Mochi experienced a tumultuous period in the spring of 2025. In March, their primary partner, Aequita Pharmacy, received a limited stop-service order from the Washington State Department of Health, forcing Mochi to scramble to switch thousands of patients to new pharmacies like Empower and Red Rock. This, along with an Eli Lilly lawsuit filed during the same timeframe, resulted in 30+ day shipping delays and a confirmed lack of customer communication through April and May.

As of late June 2025, it appears Mochi is on a clear path to recovery. After speaking with the company and observing recent customer feedback, including a significant upward trend in their TrustPilot score, we believe they have stabilized their pharmacy operations and service levels. Their score has been recently bumped up to reflect these improvements, but the events of this spring serve as a critical piece of context for any potential new customer.
